meet Emily Hodge
Emily is a Health Psychology Specialist, Coach and Therapist. A former NHS professional, she runs a growing coaching and therapy practice supporting people to move forward successfully from cancer and other challenges.
Emily was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 30 herself whilst working in the NHS. Spending a number of years in physical and emotional recovery, she was inspired to set up the service she runs from seeing the gap between counselling and moving forward with life after a traumatic experience. In seeing that people respond positively to setting goals, feeling that they can plan a future again, and taking tentative steps to act on the things they want to do, and perhaps felt too cautious to try before, she wanted to formalise this within the coaching world.
Emily also provides resilience workshops to organisations and specialist bereavement support to specific groups. She is a qualified and accredited EFT practitioner as well having a masters in health psychology, BSc in Psychology and Diploma in Coaching and NLP. Emily lives in Surrey with her husband, muddy dog and two cats.
