meet sarah massie
A former clinician working in paediatric oncology, Sarah Massie works part time for The King's Fund and runs a coaching and people development consultancy supporting people rot flourish and realise their potential. Sarah is curious about stimulus for change and that it is often a trauma or unplanned event that brings about the motivation to transform.
Sarah had spent her early career working with children and their families affected by cancer she was herself diagnosed with ovarian cancer at the age of 47.
Experiencing a year of treatment as a patient then physical and emotional recovery galvanised her to combine her clinical and personal experience of the disease and her coaching qualifications to help others.
Supported by her husband she cherishes everyday and lives a full, mindful and active life.
She is a qualified coach and coach supervisor and accredited in several psychometric tools and a mindfulness practitioner.
An experience like cancer evokes many thoughts and feelings for you, your loved ones and network of friends. Self-kindness and compassion are great enablers for moving forward beyond cancer.
